People expect the wigs and these pieces to jump out of the box and magically adhere. Some days you may need hairspray, or a little water on the scalp, or some wig glue. Test it out at home. I’ve used Got2Be as well as eye lash glue. Make it yours! Anyway I am sensitive to anything touching me prickly so this is savior. I got this and the cushier one. For the woman who used to go on Amazon : they were seized as knock offs so this is what it costs to make them but you may be able to use your fsa card or deduct the piece.

I have alopecia. I'm completely blad. Wigs, even with a stocking cap, itch. I saw this product and was very excited about it. Interestingly, I found it on Amazon for aboutc1/3 this price. I ordered it and I found it amazing. Itching is at a minimum, my wig stays on well, and I just love it. It's the best scalp protector I've ever had. Unfortunately, Amazon no longer carries it, and I'm sure it's because of the price difference. I really have a hard time justifying $39.95 plus shipping since the material this is made from is minimal and probably mass produced. I have no proof but I would guess it's made off shore. My question is, is it really necessary to sell this at such a high price? Folks like me have no choice but to wear a wig, so we have the expense of the wig, and if we want comfort we have to pay a lot of money for this scalp cushion. Is there anything that can be done to lower the cost?

I had cancer and scalp was removed on top of my head and replaced with a skin graft. It is super sensitive. I rub some Aquaphor on top of my head and it keeps the scalp cushion in place. Life saver for me.
